This enhancement improves the productivity of any merchant using the VP-ASP
shopping cart. It provides all these new features:
- Ability to auto logon without the need to re-enter userid and multiple
passwords each time.
- Ability to stay connected to Administration system without session
time outs
- Ability to go directly to any Shop Administration page without going
through logon
- Ability to set permanent logout time in days or hours
- Ability to manually logout
Why it is needed
- The shopping cart will automatically stop administration from
functioning if the session is left idle for 10 or so minutes. You then
need to logon again use the navigation to go back to what you are
doing. This enhancement resolves that issue.
- If you need to go directly to specific pages, there is no current
way to bookmark those pages since a logon is required first. With this
enhancement, you can bookmark the admin pages and go to them directly
by passing the logon.
